Approximately 4 ½ hours driving
time from Liverpool ( on the western side of Sydney), the
friendly village of Berridale is well known as “the cross-roads
of the Snowies”. Famous for its gorgeous avenue of poplar trees
lining the main road, Berridale has long had a reputation for
being “family friendly” and for offering an affordable level of
accommodation for holidaying in this unique alpine environment.
Situated halfway between Cooma
and Jindabyne, Berridale is a scenic 60 km. drive to either
Perisher Blue Ski Resort or Thredbo Village. For those wishing
to visit Selwyn Snowfields, it is a 110 km drive via the
historic Kiandra goldfields.
